Why do people insist on being so sick and twisted about michael jacksons death?

People just have been completely desensitized.

I was not a Michael Jackson fan, but I was really shocked and sad for his family. Anyone who can make jokes about death obviously hasn't had anyone close to them pass away.

well you want the honest truth?

because these past years

when he 'became white'

the picture of him holding the baby over the edge

and the assumptions and accusations of him being a child molester

came around

people started to turn the king of pop

into someone totally different

into a monster almost

and it seemed they had forgotten the wonderful music

and joy he brought

and replaced it with all these new ideas

and now his death roles around

and because he was famous

he has fans, people who look up to him

and haters, people who frown upon him

and these haters find that making jokes makes up for them not liking him

so they are going to make jokes

and if you like him

just mourn. don't worry about what others are joking about.

so they want a good laugh

but yeah

but then he died

and i thought, "there is no point in disliking a dead man"

no good will come from it

As much as I question the notion of MJ being 'a terrific performer, singer, songwriter' (good in those respects - not great IMHO), I cannot condone the sick behaviour of some people online tonight.

Yes the guy was odd and had been accused of awful crimes, but the way some people are posting tonight is just sick.

I don't particularly wish to honor MJ, but the body is hardly cold!

He was a sick and twisted man who sexually abused and/or indecently assaulted children. A person like that should not have been let near children much less be allowed to have any!!!

He was not found innocent either. He was acquitted, big difference.

No they are sitting alone wondering if they can every be close to another human, they are wondering why the don't want to play with toys anymore, they are wondering why other kids seem to be so happy all the time, they are wondering why the world has turned against them and embraced a monster and they are thinking can they ever sleep in their beds again without seeing the horrible memories play over and overand over again. But most of all they are wondering if they can ever sleep with the lights out.......

I've worked with hundreds of people who after 10, 20, 30 even 40 years later are still asking these questions. And countless others who never face their abusers because they know that offender would never be brought to answer because the molester had friends in the community. People like you!!! You sicken me

I don't know, but I wish it'd stop. People can be so vicious and rude when it comes to the stars sometimes, like they're not even human.

It beggars belief at how nasty certain people are, but karma will get them for certain. I am so sad that Michael has gone, he was an icon and legend, he will be missed greatly by his fans. R.I.P. Michael.
