I believe he was innocent. He had a very messed up childhood, was forced to be famous, and never had the chance to be a kid. So when he grew up he created Never land for children so they could have something that he never had. A way for him to go out of his way to help kids, and a way for some people to twist a story up and make a fortune off of him. He probably just settled out of court because the entire World was on his case and accusing him of it anyways, why take it to some extreme level with a high chance of him getting accused of it anyways and ending up having to pay a lot more than that if he was. Don't get me wrong, I think he was kind of "twisted" toward the end. Wouldn't we all be that way though, if since we could remember, every little issue we had in our lives was immediately plastered across every magazine cover in the World, and media jumping all over us for every little remark we made. I feel bad for him, and I don't think he ever had a real chance at being what we call "normal."
This is my oppinion on everything, and I'm sure A LOT of people disagree with it. Either way, aside from everything, Michael Jackson was and will always be "King of Pop" He's an absolutely amazing entertainer. That's what he knew him for, and that's what we should remember him as.

There is no way to be sure, but I think the evidence indicates that he is guilty. Here's my reasoning:
I could believe that he was innocent if there was just one accusation. But if I were in his position, just acquitted of child molestation, I would go out of my way to ensure that nobody could possibly ever accuse me of that again. I would not go near a child ever, unless another adult was present.
Michael Jackson didn't do that. He invited dozens of children to his messed up little ranch and even slept in the same bed with them (by the way, those childrens' parents must all be morons to allow that!).
So, at the very least, Michael Jackson is guilty of being a complete idiot for not realizing how bad that would look. More likely, though, he was a pedophile with an addiction to reprehensible behavior.
Sure, he could sing pretty well in the '80s, but I don't think his death is such a tragedy.

MY GOSH, The man went from being our Idol and our hero to someone who couldn't even leave their house because they were under such public scrutiny, that's the problem and that is what he tried to tell us through his music. It's very unfortunate what happened to him, who know's why. Only it is also unfortuanate that he could be the perfect example of someone who is totally sabotaged by fame, he had the best and then he had to endure the heat of the tabloids BS, it can't be easy. From the time he was a young boy, he entertained us all brilliantly, regardless of everything else but I still say he is INNOCENT! and proven so, those people took the money and ran, at Michaels expense in more ways than one, F_ people. God Bless You Michael Jackson! We will always love you.

I dont think but I know that he was not guilty. I think that the kid was pressured into saying what he did and that the mother was all in it for the money. Michael loves kids but he would never do something like that. It's sad that to this day people still see him as a child molester and think he is guilty of that.

I believe he was innocent. Think about it, it is his word against the families word, and in a court of law the family would win. I had a similar experience. In school I was accused of committing something I did not do, but since I had no evidence that I was innocent it was assumed I was guilty. So I had the choice of out of school suspension if I did not admit, or in school suspension. So by admitting, even though I did not do it, I got myself out of even worse, unnecessary trouble. Think about it, if Michael pleaded not guilty, the jurors would have ruled in favor of the child and he might have faced a prolonged sentence and jail time, so he chose the least risky and easiest way out. That is truly why I believe he is innocent.

I know he was NOT GUILTY. He was a sweet loving person and he was very childish. That is why he was so close to children and he loved to be around them. He behaved like a child himself. He was no molester. That greedy family wanted to sue him to make huge money off him, that is all. He paid them to make them leave him alone. He was not mean, he wanted everyone to be happy and it hurted him when mean people made such allegations against him. He certainly did not deserve that. Let him rest in piece.

Who really cares!! He has just passed away. I don't think anyone will ever know if he ever molested children or not. He seemed like a sweet person who just had fame get the best of him. The poor guy never had a chance at a normal life ever!!! let him rest in peace

he is just a human being dat never lived a normal life. Even if he did or if he didn't he is still the King of Pop. And he is not guilty.

We will never know now, will we? I believe he was guilty. After all, if he was so innocent, why did he settle with the family?
The answer is simple...money buys silence.
