he didn't represent Spain, even if he's simply called up for Spain his chances for representing England are not over unless he actually plays a match for Spain...alot are in line to guard Spain's goal so him representing England is more likely.

Almunia would be the best option for England at the moment. You are idiots if you think otherwise.
And no, I don't think he is a great goalkeeper, but does England have a better one?

I hope he doesn't represent England because players would become mercenaries. Imagine if Queernaldo hadnt played for Portugal, he would play in Dubai in order to receive $1b from the rich arabs in order to play for the UAE

I think he should play for England because he's spanish.
If your Spanish you play for Spain.
If your English you paly for England.
It should be as simple as that.
