Question about the christian antichrist.....?

Will he be the "evil" counterpart to jesus? SO will he not realize his true calling till he is 30. Will he be half human and half devil? Will he go through philosophical debates inside himself. Will his human side not want him to do these horrible things that he was made to do? Will god come to him on a mountain top and ask him to stop his war on earth? Will he accept , can he accept to stop. Basically if he is half human will he show the good side of humanity as jesus showed the bad side in the church with the whip? Just wondering?

Update:

ok the christian "VERSION" of the antichrist. is this literal central.

The anti Christ will be a false Messiah and will be 100% human. He will claim to be the Messiah and many "Christians" will believe that he is Jesus returning. Its also possible that some Jews will mistake him for the Messiah.

The sad thing is that the things the bible says he will do are the things that many Christians believe Jesus will do. The bible says he will sit in the Temple "shewing himself that he is God". Many Christians already believe Jesus is God so this will be easy for them to swallow. It also says he will do away with the daily sacrifice, something Christians claim Jesus did.

    No.

You read too much fiction. None of that is biblical.

Antichrists (1 John 2:18, 22, 2 John 1:7) are anyone who preaches doctrines that are contrary to the doctrines of God and Christ -- which is most "Christian" religions in the world today.

THE Antichrist (a.k.a., False Prophet -- 1 John 2:18, 4:3, Revelation 16:13) will be fully human (though probably possessed by a demon), the leader of a powerful "Christian" church that teaches anti-biblical doctrines and seeks to enforce his doctrines on the whole world. And he will do so through a powerful, world dominating government with whom he allies.

It is not known to what extent he will debate with himself over his actions, but it is evident that he will be aware that he is not teaching the Bible truth, and yet he will choose to continue to teach the lies.

There will be no discussion between him and Jesus Christ upon his return. He will simply be cast alive into the Lake of Fire and destroyed (Revelation 19:20). Christ will put a stop to the war.

He's going to be everything that Jesus is NOT. He will be completely human. He's going to know what he's calling is and he won't go through any philosophical conflicts. Most likely he's going to come up as this very respected and liked political power in either Europe or the Middle East. He's going to make a peace treaty with Israel and break after 3 1/2 years. Then he's going to sit on the rebuilt Temple and claim that he is the Messiah. People that follow him will get the Mark of the Beast. Those that refuse won't be able to sell or buy. Some will be killed. It'll be like the thing with Hitlter all over again. Jesus will stop him at the End of the Tribulation. Read the Bible, it will give you the answers. Hope this helped.

As in your question, most people (including most Christians) totally ignore how the Bible actually uses the Greek word antichristos (antichrist).

The word appears five times, not in Revelation, but only in the books of 1st John and 2nd John. Here is a list of all occurrences of the word Antichrist in the Bible: 1 John 2:18-22. 1 John 4:1-3. 2 John 7.

If you read those texts you will see for yourself that the Bible says the following:

    1. There are MANY antichrists.

    2. Antichrists had already started appearing when the writer was writing the books.

    3. Antichrists are defined at those who left the original Christian congregation.

    4. Antichrists contradict what the Bible actually says, which is what makes them Antichrists.

    5. Antichrists, although contradicting scripture, still profess belief in Christ.

As a result of contradicting what the Bible actually says, they are called liars, deceivers, and false prophets.

These facts, however, create a dilemma for modern Christians.

If a professed Christian today claims there is only ONE antichrist; or claims that the antichrist doesn't appear until the "end times", or claims that the antichrist is political; or otherwise misrepresents how the Bible uses the word antichrist, then that person is contradicting what the Bible actually says, correct?

Therefore, if the person is contradicting what the Bible actually says about antichrists, then doesn't that demonstrate that the person making the false claim, is himself or herself an antichrist?

We should not take something from the Bible and start dreaming about this and the other. The word of God has all the answers. It is true that since the beginning of the Christian church there have many antichrists, Judas Iscariot was actually one. But the most powerful, deceitful and richest has been the pope of Rome, and it is he to whom all scriptural prophetic texts ultimately apply.

The Anti-messiah is a spirit to start with. He is Satan. Ever since the garden of Eden incident he has been trying to lead people away from the truth.

If you think about what John 1 says about the Messiah,

John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

John 1:14 "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."

In these verses we see that the Word (Torah) was the Messiah.

We see that the Messiah was the Living Torah and that He wants us to follow Him and the Torah.

Satan as the Anti-Messiah tells us that we don't have to follow the commandments and thus the true Messiah. This is one aspect of the Anti-Messiah.

I don't think that the Anti-Messiah will have to go through all of the experiences that the Messiah did. Satan will be in complete control of this person.

Anti doesn't mean "the opposite" in the greek, more like "instead of this". In this case it means that anyways.

Think of it like the "poser-christ"

And he is the devil. "that old serpant" "Satin". It says so right in Revelations. Don't be fooled by bad televangelist teachings and Catholic movies. He won't be born. He is an Angel, Lucifer. And he is a liar. Plane and simple. If you hate lies then you won't like him.

    We don't know.

We do know that he's supposed to end the world. We also know that that's what Jesus is supposed to do.
