Anyone else having slower load times since Verizon added advertisements?

Is anyone else experiencing problems since Verizon put ads on Mail? I've had slow, slow, slow load time getting to my mail.

That's because it takes time for all those flash ads to load. A good pop-up blocker should help!

Download and install the latest Firefox browser:

    http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html

    Also install "adblock plus":

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/186...

Result: no more annoying ads! And pages are loading much quicker too...:-)

http://www.admuncher.com/ - this adblocker for the IE (and other browsers) gets highly recommended in several forums.

    http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/26171/safari-... - for Safari Mac

http://opindian.com/blog/2009/02/25/adblock-soluti... - another solution for Safari 4 Win and Mac.

I personally have the Firefox installed and don't even see anymore ads on the YA pages...:-)

i'm having a matching situation. i'm in significant PA and characteristic verizon DSL. each thing else is relatively speedy (consisting of different video web content), yet Youtube movies take continuously. i've got completed a tracert and site visitors latency is approximately as envisioned. i've got ran a packet catch collectively as attempting to pass a video and countless retransmission requests are being made. i'm thinking that's the two that Verizon is the two doing a splash style of filtering to circumvent bandwidth themes, or maybe a Youtube server is being overwhelmed.
