I want to be a journalist...?
I want to become a journalist.
I am fifteen years old and figured that I should get a head start on what I want to do.
I was wondering if anyone knew where I could send in some armature stuff to be critiqued.
Or, any tips that would be helpful.

First, to get a "head start" you should make sure your ability to use the language is exceptional. For example, it is "amateur" and not armature. Next, the word 'stuff' has no objective value in the sentence. You should take writing courses until you are sick of them. You should learn that a good journalist reports objective facts, and not what the Republicans tell you to write or print. Next, it is very difficult to be a journalist. You may have to cover hundreds of lame, no-interest stories, "fluff pieces" before you get to do any investigative journalism. And remember this, a good story contains who, what, when, where, why and how. If any of these elements are missing, you do not have a complete story. And read . . . everything! Decide in your own mind what makes a good story, and what is just a waste of space ( or broadast time ), and why. I could go on for days, but at least you now have some things to consider.
