Christians who ignore 1Cor.14:34-35, do you like the name Faith or Jordan?

People love to take that verse and condemn Paul, nobody cares to look at where he said it, Corinth, nor what kind of town it was, a port town.

Corinth was full of the dregs of the world, women were raped and kidnapped near every day. There was no real law it was chaotic and uglier than any town you can think of, Paul didn't want the women harmed. He asked them to not be in public lest they too be kidnapped and harmed. The synagogue was not a place to get the men upset.

They acted like they do in Islamic countries where stoning someone whom they do like is considered okay. Those from the synagogue had all ready taken the Apostles and beaten them, Paul and Barnabas had also been in prison and flogged for what they said in 'church'. Women were treated as bad as slaves, he was trying to protect them that is all there is to it.

I might also add that if the women were to preach I would think Mary would have been the first if that was what they were supposed to do. Women have so many talents that men do not have if they would be proud of those talents they wouldn't be so dissatisifed all the time.
