Do you still believe in Dravidian and Aryan story ?

1.The recent DNA mapping does not show much variance.

2. The discovery of the Indus valley civilization and Saraswati civilization debunked that theory.

3. How come the nomadic hunters of central asia, who had to roam around for daily needs, had time for coming up with such great philosophies ?

4. If an offshoot of the great civilization had come to India, where is the main civilization and where is the same or higher philosophy maintained or discovered ?

No one believes the Aryan/Dravidian story as you describe it. It was a racial theory created by European colonialists (similar to the Caucasoid-Negr*id-Mongoloid theory) based on the fact that they saw more lighter skinned people in the north and west ("Aryan") and darker skinned people in the south and east ("Dravidian").

The Aryan invasion/migration theory is based on the similarity of Sanskrit to languages spoken in Mesopotamia, and hence it was theorized that South Asian civilization originated there. From the discoveries at the Indus River basin, we now know that these theories are not true.

The terms Aryan and Dravidian are now used to distinguish linguistic groups not ethnic or religious groups.

Source(s): (*for some reason they don't allow me to type N-e-g-r-o-i-d. Its not racist, its part of the name of the theory)

Thank you for the information. It replicates what has been found in other parts of the world. We are probably talking about the invasion of a warrior aristocracy here, no more.

Actually i used to believe in this theory but now it does not have any resemblance.
