Yes, actually you can both Macintosh and Windows from the boot up screen where you have a choice. But I reccomend you get Windows 7 when is comes out and if you cant wait that long DO NOT GET VISTA!!!!! if you know whats good for you

Windows is a bit more advanced than MAC so alot of people who arn't computer savy should probably stick to their MAC os.

If you like to game, and do more than cruise the web, and use simple built in MAC os photo editing etc software, I would definately go to XP or vista.

But, its possible your computer is not compatable with running XP/Vista, I would use google to try and find your answer.
