If the Pig is supposed to be the dirtiest animal, why do we eat everything from the pig?

Look in your Bible and see if it say ANYWHERE that the reason we can't eat pork is because it is dirty. I'll tell you, it doesn't. G-d simply gives us the list of what is acceptable and what is not- NO REASONS GIVEN EVER,ANYWHERE. There are many things we can't eat (according to G-d) and no reason is given about any of them. It is thought- in Judaism- that the simple reason is "because G-d said so" and it is a matter of self-discipline and love for G-d that we do it.

Actually the pig is specifically mentioned in the Bible as being unclean and the filthiest of animals. That is why Jews who follow kashrut and Muslims do not eat pork. Everyone else eats it just because. Christians justify it based on Jesus saying that eating whatever was alright since it just leaves the body. Others do it for different reasons. I know in some Pagan religions for instance, such as Asatru, pork is specifically considered a sacred food so they eat it for that reason.

First off, because they taste good. It is also much easier and cheaper to raise pigs than other animals, cattle for example.

Secondly pigs are much cleaner than many other animals. They lie in mud to cool off but many animals live is worse filth and spread more diseases.

only in islam i tink.....its a religous thing not that the pig is dirty...they also say tt the dog is dirty dosen tt make ervy animal dirty...
