is there such thing as starter lip jewelry?
well, i just pierced my lip yesterday and it went painlessly and wonderfully. i did do it myself, with the closest thing to proper equipment- without being legit- and it all went good until i tried to put the lip jewelry in, because of the flat back, (no, not the part you take off and screw back on, but how it isn't at a point) it wouldn't go through my lip, so i decided i'll try it a month later, with something else.
SO BASICALLY! is there a lip starter jewelry, where it's pointed? like starter earrings, but for lip?
and is a month long enough to pierce it on the same side again, or should i do it in a week or two on the other side?
i cannot get it pro. pierced, i'm not 16. but i did okay it with my parents, and i did research it. please don't tell me to wait.

No there is no such thing as starter lip jewelry. When you have your lip professionally pierced, they use a hollow needle and feed the jewelry through the back of it so the hole doesn't close. It sounds like whatever you used to pierce your lip was too small (wrong gauge) so the hole is too tiny for standard sized lip rings.

If you researched piercing enough, you'd know that lip piercings are always done with hollow piercing needles.
Starter earring aren't even as sharp as hollow piercing needles.
And you do not have to be sixteen to get piercings. Age policies vary by shop. I got my navel pierced at fifteen with my mom's consent [she came in with me and signed the papers with me]. Since you have consent already, just find a shop that will pierce you before you're sixteen.
