What are possible meals or snacks?

What are possible meals or snacks that are fairly inexpensive and can be prepared quickly?

For meals I usually have bagels with cream cheese for breakfast and bagel bits for lunch. (Pure coincidence that they are both bagel related.) Bagel bites are miniature bagels with cheese and meat on top that you microwave.

For snacks, I have bananas, grapes, and chex cereal.

What are some other possibilities for meals and snacks. Also, I currently don't have anything to fill in the supper slot so ideas for that would be good.

I should also note that I've always been a picky eater, so options that the majority of people would like would also be helpful.

Here are some of my favorite snacks:

Your favorite kind of cracker with some cheese, kelbasa (or your favorite kind of snack meat) and also red pepper jelly or hummus

I also like lots of fruit and vegetables make a fruit salad and eat it through out the day for breakfast, lunch, snack or even after supper!

Cut up some of your favorite vegetables and make a good dip some good dip recipes are:

    http://southerncuisine.suite101.com/article.cfm/ve...

a lot of good recipes there.

Have some peanut butter on bananas, crackers etc...

I love bagels too and I like pb and J and sometimes honey on it for breakfast that's really great! For lunch I sometimes put tomatoes, mayonnaise, melted cheese, your favorite lunch meat ( i like ham) and some mustard and that's a good snack or for lunch.

Add fruit to your cereal to make it taste better and get more nutrition!

For your snack also have some water/juice/milk along with it!

I also really love to have some cookies for a snack sometimes if I am feeling indulgent on my sweet tooth :S

    Some cheap meal Ideas are

A stir fry with just you're favorite kind of vegetables, rice (or noodles whichever you prefer) and beef, chicken or even tofu (it's actually really good!) with your favorite seasonings and soy sauce!

Potatoes are great especially baked with sour cream, green onions, bacon and/or cheese on top or even mashed or boiled or cut into strips and baked into fries!

A soup is easy to make just get some chicken on sale with bones and cook it in a pot of water with seasoning and add vegetables to it! Chicken is relatively cheap my mom likes to buy it and put it in stir fries, or just bread the chicken and fry them up!

If you really like pasta I like pesto, cherry tomatoes, and/or shrimp and scallops mixed together everyone I know loves this!

Or if you like spaghetti buy some ground beef and some cans of tomatoes and that's a fairly cheap meal. You could even make meat balls with some eggs, bread crumbs and some seasoning!

I know it sounds weird to some people but if you make an omelet add your favorite vegetables and voila!

Just baking plain chicken/beef is great because you can use the leftovers for a sandwich or a good wrap for lunch the next day.

    Hope I helped look at

which have some great, cheap meal ideas!

    Enjoy and good luck!

Baked potatoes. Nothing complicated here. Buy large baking potatoes or just get a bag of potatoes on sale. If small, bake more of them per serving. Choose your favorite toppings: Simply butter, salt and pepper, cheese, broccoli, sour cream, bacon bits, or whatever is on hand.

Cheese quesadillas. Make these with flour tortillas. Heat two tortillas in a skillet and remove one to a plate. Top the remaining tortilla with shredded cheese. When melted, about 1-2 minutes, place the other tortilla on top. Allow to cook for a minute or so, flip the whole thing over and cook the other side for another minute. Dump onto a plate, slice with a pizza cutter. If you have it: Add shredded cooked chicken to the cheese. Serve with salsa. its sooo yummmy!

Scrambled eggs. Get a dozen for less than one dollar. Crack eggs into a bowl and whisk. Add milk, salt, and pepper. Cook eggs in a skillet. If you have it: Add your choice of mushrooms, cheese, green pepper, or onion.

Spaghetti and sauce. Here again, not too creative, but you can pick up a package of spaghetti and a can of sauce for less than two dollars. Add parmesan cheese on top.

Tuna sandwiches. Frequently on sale, tuna provides a meaty dinner this week. For four filling sandwiches, use four of the smaller cans. Dump all of the cans into a bowl, add mayonnaise or salad dressing, along with some relish if you've got it. Stir, spread onto bread. I like to use ranch dressing.

Grilled cheese sandwiches. Butter bread on both sides and place on a medium-heat grill. Add a slice of cheese. Splurge on an extra slice of cheese per sandwich!

Watch for sales on frozen vegetables. You can frequently pick up a one-pound bag for less than a dollar.

Slice a fresh tomato into wedges or a cucumber into slices to go with a sandwich. Any fresh vegetable will do.

Slice a piece of fruit for a healthy dessert. i like low fat vanilla yogurt with strawberries, or peach yogurt with pineapple.

a lot of grocery stores have big sales on fruit right now.

    now for snacks...

    popcorn

    jello

    yogurt

    pudding

    apple sauce

    carrots with ranch

    peanut butter crackers

    rice cakes

    hope this is helpful (:

Chopped veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, carrot, celery, zucchini spears, raw turnip, mushrooms -- whatever veggies you like raw) with a dip

For dinner, try frying a piece of fish, chicken, beef, or pork, and microwave some quartered potatoes (basically, you're making boiled potatoes). Add your favorite vegetable on the side, either raw or steamed or microwaved.
