He saved mine. The stimulus work has been rolling in.
I was slow in Jan and Feb but things picked up since then and it has mostly been infrastructure projects funded by the stimulus.
My direct experience tells me that when you say none you are lying.

Bush didn't lose or create any jobs in the civilian sector. And neither has Obama. None is the correct answer as far a civilian jobs goes. To all of those who would say otherwise. Read the US Constitution. It is not within the power of the President OR Congressto create a single civilian job.
Now they can create and fund government jobs. But those have an inherent 35% waste factor built in. For the unenlightened . You send the government $100 dollar and they send you $65 back in the for of services.
Yes I know --That's dumb. But it's the way things work.

Well, according to Obama, 150 thousand jobs have been created, or saved, since stimulus began. That sounds rather anemic when you consider that millions of jobs have been lost.
Incidentally, if in fact jobs were created, many are only temporary, or at least until the stimulus money is spent. One fundamental difference between government creating jobs, and the free market doing so is, the money spent by the free market to creat jobs is renewable resources and is capable of sustaining these jobs. Jobs created by the government, will be gone when the money runs out.

No, you forgot about the 20 police officers in Columbus, Ohio. The media was riding on that for a week, anything to keep your mind off the millions that have been lost.

First you tell me how many jobs bush created with his $billion dollar stimulus packages to the wealthy.
I'll tell you how many, zilch! You gave bush 8 years to destroy our prosperity, and now your all shook up because Pres. Obama hasn't fixed the damage the republicans have done in a couple of months! Wake up! Wake the heck up!!!!

Probably in the negative 1,000,000 range. Of course it's hard to directly link any hiring or layoffs to government policy, which is exactly why he's willing to make such statements without fear of it being held against him.

He talks a good game though, doesn't he? Too bad that those a s s holes who voted for him weren't as smart as they thought they were. Maybe most of those laid off voted for Barry and got what they wanted.
