There's no time like the present to start something new. I don't think 14 is too old to start ballet. If you are passionate about it, then I would say do it.

Who told you you weren't good enough? There are many world class dancers who started in their teens. If you really love ballet, have the motivation and are prepared for the discipline and hard work, go for it and enjoy it and see how far it takes you.

dance for fun
i do some ballet moves to keep fit and supply
i will never be good but i enjoy it.
so what i am saying is do ballet because you love it and for no other reason and just see what happens.

Of course you should start dancing again! You're never too old for anything. Enjoy yourself, do whatever you want in life, and don't let anybody tell you you're too old for something.
