I am applying to boarding schools and I already visited Ashbury College in Ottawa and i sent in my application. I wanted more of peoples opinions i guess. Is it friendly? I'm 15 and next year I really want to go to Boarding School, because me and my family are constantly moving and personally I can't stand America. My family is originally from Brazil and I feel more Brazilian than American. I lived in Brazil until I was 5 and my family and I go there any time I don't have school. My dad can't speak English so I'm constantly speaking Portuguese with him. I want to move to Europe, because I think it would be a GREAT experience. I'm just so worried the Europeans won't like me, because I am American. I always here about how much Europeans hate Americans but I don't really see myself as the average American, because I don't think I was raised that way. I just wanted to know if i'd be okay as a new student in a new country. I speak French, Spanish and a little German too. I know that Europeans always complain how Americans don't know any foreign languages. I'm worried I wouldn't make any friends because of all the stereotypes and such.

I have an american and brazilian passport and most of my life i have moved between america and brazil. I have been going to boarding school in switzerland for about a year (im in 10th grade) and I will be continuing for 2 more years. I plan on studying somewhere in Europe for college. I go to an international school. but i speak German, English, Spanish, French and Portuguese, so I could live in any countries that speak these language without trouble. My question is could i optain lets say a german, swiss, or austrian passport if i live in any of those countries many years while studying. If i stay in switzerland until the end of college i could be here for seven years... i might transfer to another school in germany next year.

My grandparents were all born in germany and some in austria, but i dont think that matters. Both my parents are brazilian.

Ok, so for my computer class, we need to make a powerpoint on anything we want. It supposed to show that we know how to do powerpoint and stuff. I am from Brazil, so I was thinking of doing something based on Brazil, but that just seems so boring. I want to do something different and really creative, but I can't think of anything. I usually can come up with stuff like this, but I'm having a lot of trouble. The Powerpoint can be on anything, but I can't just me a song, pretty pictures, and the lyrics to the song. It has to have some meaning or depth to it.

OK, so I know Portuguese, Spanish, and English, because my parents are from brazil and i lived there for a bit, portuguese was my first language, english i learned by living in america, and spanish just is really easy cause of portuguese. I love lanuguages, right now i am learning french and german and plan to be fluent in these two languages by the end of high school (i am a freshman)

Soooo i was curious if there are teens at around 14 or 15 who know more languages.....

I'm just curious...

I want to go to boarding school, but I love to dance so I wanted a school with a good dance program.
