I need a name for a male character in my story?!?

He's the love interest for my main character. Her name is Millie Quinn and at the moment I've named him Seth but it doesn't feel right. Any suggestions? He's a bit of a gentleman, slightly arrogant, but simply oozes kindness though he's the type to be embarrassed when that kindness is noticed by others.

    Sounds like an Edward Cullen

    lol

Well, his name should suit how he looks

    How do u picture him?

I would suggest not naming him like a basic common name

not like cody, zack, or Chris

    Mayb like a Ben

    Benjamin

I don't know, only u can make that Pronouncement of ur character

U know who he is, u created him

U want a name that is a well known name, but not used much

if u get what i mean

    possibly a,

    Dean

    Craig

    Scott

    Calum

    Daniel

I seriously couldn't answer ur question accurately cause I don't know the character or what his appearance is

sorry but only u can decide

    William

  • Hmm. I think Seth is pretty good.

    I also think:

    Alec

Jamison (Seems very gentlemen, but arrogant.)

I'm also feeling Isaac. I know it seems really childish and playful. But I see it being really sexy and classy too - he'd have to be poised though.

Shaun. It needs to be spelled that way for the effect.

Any way you choose, I wouldn't do something too popular. I think it'll take away from his image. He needs to be memorable, but not in a "That's his name!?" way.

Brendan, Darcy, Adam, William/Will, Victor, Ellis, Thomas, Kevin, Brandon, James, Gabriel, Xavier. those seem like gentlemanly, kind, and slightly arrogant first names.

Umm okay well if he's trying to be non nice, then it's kinda like a bad boy right? I've always liked the name Blaine for a bad boy .. . . . Umm but if you don't want it to sound rough, what about Flynn or Thane or Conor . . . Good Luck!

James sounds just about right. Millie and James. James is also a gentlemen's name! If your looking for a shy name, name him sky! Millie and sky are both unique and it fits the character 2 me.
