Should the late Davey Allison or Alan Kulwicki go into the NASCAR Hall of Fame?

.....Would love to see both make it into the hall.........

That is gonna be tough for NASCAR whether or not to nominate guys like Alan Kulwicki, Tim Richmond, Davey Allison, guys like that. I know Tim and Davey should get it. They made pretty big impacts on the sport when they were winning all those races. Alan I'm not so sure about. Yeah he won the championship but I don't know if that's enough. But he did win as a single-car owner/driver. Maybe, but I wouldn't count my chickens before they hatch.

Yes, both of them should be inducted. Davey was on the list of 50 Greatest drivers and I'm pretty sure Alan was too. Had they lived, I think Davey would have at least 1 championship and at the very least 35 career wins. Alan would have at least 20 career wins. I am a HUGE fan of both (especially Davey) In fact, 28 is the # I'd choose if I could drive a racecar. I'd also drive the #28 with a retro 1992 Davey Paint scheme.

And, who doesn't love the "Underbird" and the story behind it!?!?!

At some point in the future? Absolutely. I do think both achieved much in their too-short time in the Cup series. But there are way too many drivers who did a lot more for a lot longer period of time than they did.

And just for one person's information, just because someone has died, doesn't mean they should get an automatic pass into the front row for Hall of Fame inductees. There's plenty of time and many more deserving drivers before Davey and Alan get their due - but be patient, they will get in. Both deserve it. Just not right now.

Shoot yes. Both would have had triple the amount of wins, at least and multiple championships if they had lived. Roberto Clemente made it to the hall of fame for baseball. These guys should be honored the same way.

Yes they both should be allowed in the NASCAR Hall of Fame. They contributed to the sport.

they will both be in the hall of fame soon.there both legendary drivers,alan won the winston cup in 1992 with his own team,and davey would have been a winston cup champion too.

of course, davey for his driving ability and alan for his savvy as the last owner/operator (single car operation) to win a championship. they're both locks to get in. what does dying unexpectedly have to do with their hall of hame worthiness? dale earnhardt died unexpectedly, should he not get in the hall of fame because of it?

Yes they both belong in the hall of fame, don't think they will make it the first round of inductees, but yes they will go in..
