20090120 Who says you can't have afererrindum to get your state to call for a constitutional admendment to change the constitution? The guy who was removed was the one trying to break the law and constitution of Honduras by trying to get around the term limits.

I am rather curious it is ok to have a referendum on proposition 8 but it is not on president terms?
the real reason is quite obvious and the same as for every other country - it is a coup! he is the democratically elected president!
