Spiritually speaking, is this guy completely Barking?

I have seen some pretty weird political/religious ranting in my time, but this has got to take the paranoid schizophrenic cake...

Update:

And no, Ash, I don't think it's worse, but I do think it is laughable.

Update 2:

I got this guy's material through my door yesterday. He's a trained scientist with a background in microbiology and the same age as my kids.

One conventional interpretation of that page (haven't read the rest of the site because i have better things to do with my time) would certainly be as symptomatic of psychosis, and i have to say i don't believe a word of it in the literal sense. Leaving that aside, that sort of interpretation often isn't very respectful of the person making that sort of statement. I mean, i can look at it and see the classic psychiatric themes of thought insertion and the like, but i'm then medicalising what this bloke's saying. I think it's important to look beyond it and see what his truth is. When he mentions brain damage, for example, in a sense you are agreeing with him when you say he's "completely barking". Yes, and he acknowledges that in a metaphorical sense.

What he is doing is mistaking the metaphor for the literal truth, and elaborating that metaphor in quite a florid manner. A number of other people do that in the context of an organised religion, and in a sense they're lucky. His problem is probably that he's isolated, he has his own thoughts and he's ended up running along with them without the opportunity of a reality check.

Look at the stuff in Revelation. This is not more bizarre than that. The main issue is popularity.

OMG, i looked at the source code on the guys page...some of his key words included "intergalactic police federation"

maybe he thinks the klingons are really going to come and abduct him.

whatever you do, don't make any alien jokes around him. seriously. and keep the star trek stuff down...just in case. or not, if you want to keep him from coming back.

    Clearly a severely unhinged individual.

You can be educated and completely delusional. I love the way he presents the information as fact.

Simply further evidence that religion addles brains. This guy is beyond any hope of recovery.
