Anyone else sick of hearing about Michael Jackson?

I accept that a lot of people loved his music etc, but he was a person - not a God! I listen to the radio during the day and can't remember anyone requesting a MJ song for about 3 years. Now it's every second or third song. I feel very sorry for his family and friends, as I would for anyone who has suffered tragic loss, but he was just a person like everyone else.

Update:

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion but he wasn't exactly a role model, was he?

Ditto. This is what offends me most. And it's part of what destroyed him and why his life in the end was such a disaster - he lived in such a warped world.

Why we should glorify someone who self-destructed and make them a hero is beyond me.

I enjoyed his talent but talents are God given, doesn't give them untouchable, super divine status. He misused and abused his.

No im not sick of hearing about him, the more positive stuff I hear about him is the more happier I feel for him..

There was too much lies and slanderous things said about him in later years, we who respects and admire him cant get enough of him..

Just remember Michael Jackson will never be able to live this life again, let him have his Elvis Presley moment his John Lennon moment his Bob Marley moment his Princess Diana moment, because he deserves it he is "Michael Jackson"..

R.I.P. Michael Jackson, it is now those who said bad things about you will wish you were still alive, your talent will still shine for generations to come..

  • NO ... I'm sick of hearing about real pointless celebrities like Britney, Paris, Lindsay or Katie Price... I'm glad they have disappeared from the media (at least for a little while...)

Yes, I'm sick of it. But if you are sick of it, why did you bring it up?

Am past it now, shrugged my shoulders for him. Wondered about the truth of what really went on, no longer care. Not my concern.
