i have a 26" sanyo vizon that i want to use as another monitor it has hdmi , s-video input what do i need ?
what should i buy in order to make it work because i bought the vga to regular tv cable but it wont recognize the tv as a monitor. do i have to download something or buy something else. please let me know
my laptop does but the one im trying to use does not have , it only has vga output

An HDTV's HDMI port can be connected to any computer that has an HDMI or DVI output.
If your computer does not have an HDMI or DVI output, you should consider a better graphics card (if your computer has an AGP or PCIExpress 16x slot to receive a graphics card upgrade).

What ports do you have on your computer, i use a hdmi cable, as i have a hdmi port on both my tv and laptop
