Why do people only start caring when people die?
I dont know if this has been asked yet but why do fans just come outta nowhere when an artist/celebrity dies? Prime example..Michael Jackson. Nobody was pretty much worried about michael before last week, especially after all those lawsuits and everything. But now that he dead and gone thats all you hear about is 'Mike was the truth' 'I love MJ', etc. And its in the media everyday, people buying up all his merchandise, playing all his cds they had tucked up in boxes in they closets/garages, just doing the most.
Does a celebrity dying really make him that much more famous? and why is that?

thank you thats the same thing i was saying its sad he had to die for pple to start back playing his music and actually caring about his health i believe thats what killed him it was to much stress poor mj.. but these pple just dont get it you suppose to treat everyone like its there last day on earth not wait till they gone then recognize them man its soo sad

I personally agree with on how bizarre it is when all these people come out celebrating MJ's music only after he dies. And how the same media that makes fun of him, is now in mourning :S
But I think they start caring more cos he is no more..no more concerts, no more albums, no more public appearances, no more news flashes. Despite whatever he did, he was still human and more importantly he rocked!! And to see him go like that is sad :( BUT true fans should care about him as much when he was alive rather than glorifying him just cos he died!!

No,To me they only did it to Micheal Jackson.they dogged him so long.Now he's gone.And now here come the bullcrap rumors..Now they see how much power he has.Because he still raking in the dough.This was an valued man living and even in death.The Greatest Entertainer In The World..He was Truly Blessed.And the Hater's couldn't take that away.God bless his soul.Rest in Peace. And to answer your question,it depend on the celebrity.When Milton Berle died,nobody cared.But those who knew him.You think George Bush get all this hooplah,I think not.
