Waivers - when do you get them?

My daughter acted as an extra recently in a movie and was paid nicely for the day and was also told that it was waiver work. I understand that 3 of these will permit you to get into SAG. When do you collect the actual waiver? Is it in writing? On your record somewhere? Mailed to you?

To be safe you'll need to hang onto the voucher from the day your daughter worked, in the event there's a problem of getting the paycheck.

When the paycheck is mailed to you, and it sounds to me like it already has, hang onto the pay stub as it is the evidence for the SAG-waivered work she did.

Once your daughter gets 2 more days' of work with a waiver, and you have the pay stubs in hand, you can make an appointment with your local SAG office and schedule a meeting to join the union. You'll be asked to show the pay stubs as proof.

As the AD in charge of extras or at the end of the day go see the production manager and ask for the waiver.
