Im just wondering about this?

I have come across several people who put the same answer on dozens of questions that have absolutly nothing to with the quesiton.

the post something about a website on brand name shoes, they even asked the same question 3 to 4 times and its not even a question.

My question is what does yahoo do to those people who are massively abusing yahoo answers and is there a way to get all answers and question screened so that this stops happening?

Update:

thanks for all the help!

abusing the points system,is what it is, and I see it with the "yes" and "no" answers.

Even if they do get a new channel, they still have to go with losing all of their ill-gotten points,so why not earn them the "legal" way ???

I dislike them and if they ever answer on my questions they get reported for abuse. I have gotten to my level the honest way, by answering questions and getting best answers for the thought I put into my answers.

    They should,too.

I have gotten those answers too and I'm totally on the same page with you, they're so annoying! I think the best way is to just report this to Yahoo. I don't think we can make them stop answering with their ads by ourselves, since basically anyone can answer with any answer they want. Unless you can block a user, but I'm not sure if you can do that.. hope this helps..

Yes, it would take too much time for YA staff, but really, do we need Big Brother telling us our questions are ok before we ask them?

When it is obvious spam selling sneakers or diet aids, especially on unrelated questions, it is okay to be a report monkey & let the Yamster know.

Every time you see it report abuse, maybe they'll like suspend the user from Y!A or something.

quite honestly, I don't think yahoo does anything about it and I don't think there is a chance of getting Qs and As screened...

You'll just have to ignore them if you can.

I just report them every time I see them and move on. It is annoying though.
