They can't "hold your paycheck" but they can certainly garnish your wages. Make some kind of arrangement with them before it gets to this. Get up to date on your payments and stop using that credit card.

Depends on what country you are in. Assuming you are in the United States each state has different laws governing the amount of garnishment. So yes they can hold a portion of your paycheque until they receive their amount owed.

yes they can hold up to 80 percent i believe and they can take up to a certain amount i believe again its 80 percent from every check until the debt is paid.
