CHEESE PLATE: a selection of cheeses from basic Cheddars to a few exotic choices; add crackers and olives to the side.

FRUIT: a platter of fruits makes the table look colorful and appealing and is tasty as a starter or desert.

MIXED SALADS: two or three bowls of mixed salad can be placed at intervals along the table. Two different styles will add variety; a classic Cesar salad for vegetarians and a ham or chicken salad.

SLICED VEGETABLES: a plate of sliced tomatoes, mushrooms, carrots, broccoli complement the dips you have available.

BREADS AND DIPS: a selection of different breads with dips and spreads such as hummus, pate's, cream cheese and mustards go down well.

MEATS: salami, prosciutto, cocktail sausages, sliced sausage and a selection of dried meats on a platter always runs out.

PROSCIUTTO CON MELONE: a classic Italian dish of cured thin ham with melon.

PRAWN COCKTAIL: a bowl of prawn cocktail is a traditional dish at many parties.

SMOKED SALMON: layers of smoked salmon add class to a buffet table.

STUFFED MUSHROOMS: large varieties of mushroom stuffed with feta cheese and herbs and baked, these can be eaten hot or cold.

QUICHES: perfect as finger food the flan type can have any filling you want from plain to cheese and broccoli or seafood or meat.

PRE MADE SANDWICHES AND CRACKERS: a couple of platters of pre made sandwiches and crackers are popular. Create different toppings for vegetarians and meat eaters. At least one seafood ingredient should be used.

An example for sandwiches: ham, plain cheese, cheese and pickle, cream cheese and cucumber, meat paste or crab paste, use white and whole meal bread for each filling.

Crackers: cream cheese and smoked salmon, hummus and cucumber, pate's, cheese and olives.

CAKES: desert is very important, cakes are easy to handle, try chocolate cake, Florentines and an ordinary sponge cake. Have a selection of cream and custard to complement them.

This is a very basic list for a small gathering, there are many dishes to pick from or create. Finger food can save time and costs for the wedding and everyone can enjoy a fulfilling meal

an old american way......... have a pig roast in the park. Near the water would more romantic and nice for picture taking to capture the beautiful pride with the beauty of the nature.

B B Q , any meat you want to be including hot dog and hamburger.

Pizza and Chicken wings also good.

    Hams.

adding macaroni salad, potatoes salad, devil eggs, and salad

adding paper plates and cups so less clean up after. Only thing last thing to do is begging mother nature blessing you with a nice weather.

Here is what I had at my wedding. We had ham salad and chicken salad and some lunch meats and cheeses, then just 2 different kinds of rolls and everyonejust made their own sandwhiches! Then we had lots of fruit and veggie platters with ranch dip. And of course cake!

I'd go with the costco pot sticker boxes.

There's all sorts of yummy deep fried finger foods in there.

They also have those great cream puffs too.

If this is YOUR wedding, ask around for referrals for a caterer. Interview them, tell them you want finger foods, set up a tasting, and take it from there. You setting up, buying/preparing finger foods and otherwise stressing yourself out is not worth it. Deligate, honey!!!!

Sliders (baby burgers, turkey burgers or chicken burgers)

    Mini - brats

    Veggie wraps

    Wings

    Shrimp cocktail

    Sushi

    Quiches

    Stuffed Mushrooms

    Meatball

    Tea Sandwiches

Honestly it depends on your venue, take what you like and what your fiance likes and make it mini, that way it'll be your signature thing and everyone will recognize that since they all know you!!!
