I'm with kmcryer, as far as the Harry Potter movies go--if only my school had been as full of magic!

On the serious side, my pick is Francois Truffaut's "Small Change" most of which is set in and around a small school in France, and deals with kids on a real level, with humor and insight.

Mean girls. Sorry, im a guy but still this movie was light years ahead of the any of the other movies that had nothing to do with how school was! Now they went a little overboard on all shopping those girls do and how rich they were. Not everybody who is popular has rich parents. But the acting was brilliant, and it was funny. Most of those movies are sappy not funny.

They turned what could have been just another bring it on movie into a funny movie, with great acting and a whole bunch of one liners to last a life time!

I would go back and some kind of wonderful was good, but nobody would know what the hell i was talking about! Lea thompson was a great actor in her day!

omg, yeah that was heath ledger in 10thing i hate about you! Damn kind of forgot about that! i watch that movie like religion! Some reason i love Julia Stiles! What ever happened to her!

    " Kindergarten Cop" (1990)

Arnold Schwartzenegger (!) plays tough-guy Seattle narcotics cop who is accidentally assigned to "infiltrate" a small-town primary school in Ivan Reitman's classic comedy! Pamela Reed (Jericho, Eli Stone, etc) plays his partner and Penelope Ann Miller plays the love interest. Look for 60s sex kitten Carrol Baker as the bad guy's mother!

But my favorite would have to be Heathers.
