What are some of the signs that a person is a Christian?

When a person looks at the life of a Christian he or she should be able to see Christ working and operating in that life. Christ was filled with compassion and mercy. He fed the hungry. healed the blind, crippled, deaf etc. When one becomes a Christian, one dies to self. Our own selfish desires and personality traits are a thing of the past. We take on a Christ like personality. Our hearts are filled with love for those in the world. We are moved to help others because of what Christ did for us. We are called to be a light to a hurting world in darkness. We are called to show the world the love of Christ.

Contrary to popular belief a Christian is not just someone who goes to church, but a Christian is someone who takes up his or her cross and follows in the footsteps of the Lord. I hope this helps! Peace and blessings in Christ.

There should not be any outward signs, as in cloths or bearing/attitude.

Jesus taught as much - and hopefully people are listening - if they are Christian.

So personality traits that match Jesus - no taunting or gossiping, helping if one can, being gracious as a host or guest, are what I would think a Christian sign would be, among others.

Besides their willingness to declare Christ via conversation - you can tell by the way they act. They operate as the Holy Spirit that dwells within them influences them to act.

Galatians 5:22-23 But the Spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, and self-control. There is no law against such things as these.

1st Corinthians 13:4-8a Love is patient and kind; it is not jealous or conceited or proud; love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable; love does not keep a record of wrongs; love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth. Love never gives up (it endures all things); and its faith, hope, and patience never fail. Love is eternal.

By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another

id say a big sign would be if you ask them if they are christian and they say yes...just a guess

because unless you asked me, you probably couldn't really tell that I'm a christian myself

By showing the love of Christ in their lives. Forgiveness of things that has happened in their lives. By willingness to share the Gospel with others. Not afraid to read their Bible, and go to church. Wanting to learn more about the Bible, and more about God. Being more Christ like.

Professes that Jesus is their personal Savior, loves and serves God, prays in the name of Jesus, shows compassion toward others, confesses that he/she is a sinner to name a few.

They tell everyone that what they believe is wrong and that if they dont change they will burn in hell for eternity and they once their beliefs are questioned they call it persecution.

they also are very focused on material weatlh and see it as a blessing from God.

Seriously if people were really christians they would have homeless people in their houses, they would be out taking care of people all the time.

they dont do that they just sit in their deluded little social club that they call a church and think they are the kings of the universe
