How would you react if you were wrong?

How would you react if you realize that every answer you ever gave on Yahoo answers was wrong?

I'd be mortified, what about you?

I've been know to be wrong before, I'm still alive.

To someone on the boards, all of my answers were "wrong".

So it's really not a big deal.

Why be mortified or embarrassed? We are all doing the best to answer questions in good faith with the information we have so far. This doesn't guarantee that we are never going to be proven wrong, in fact it happens all the time.

I encourage people on this forum to ask questions because they really want to know, not just to try to prove someone else wrong. Ask because maybe, just maybe, they may prove YOU wrong, and wouldn't that be something?

My convictions are solid. However, if someone has information that will give me a different perspective and change my view, then I want to know about it. Otherwise, I'm just an ostrich with my head in the sand.

Well, no answer I or any human has given could ever be perfectly correct.

Oh no, I'm in denial already.

If it was just flat-out, opposite of what is correct? I think I would just start walking down the street and keep going for a number of days.

I would be utterly disgusted. Because isn't what Yahoo Answers is for? Gaining knowledge from other people and their perspective. And when the people use your "wrong" answers into action, they will be mad and embarrassed and look at Yahoo Answers as something useless and betrayal.

I would fear for my Sanity. Like if Every Answer was wrong (including the ones I submitted when I was sober)....uh oh!!

    But then I'd consider....

Hmmm....How could everyone I've ever known have led me astray? (they can't have all been wrong too).

And finally I'd realize...maybe I shoulda listened more and answered less.

I wouldn't care. Honestly, I get a lot of things wrong. That's probably the reason behind all my detentions during the school year.

If there was a definite right or wrong answer...then I would seriously reconsider my definition of philosophy.

Answers can only be different, they cannot be wrong. Wrong by who? you?

I wouldn't care if you thought my answers were wrong !!
