well you need to do this right click the game than click properties than click compatibility than click run this program compatibility mode for than there will be a list of things and choose windows 98/windows me that's what i had to do and it worked fine after that

uninstall it then reinstall it. if i t still doesnt work you downloaded a dodge install in whih case find a new install
