What´s the English for...?

the Spanish word "baboso"...it´s used to talk about a man who always drools over cute girls /women. "Lecherous " or "lewd" would be too harsh. "Baboso " has a humorous connotation. Is there an English equivalent?

In México, "Baboso" is dim, fool, stupid, idiot. Someone so stupid that he drools.

Even the kids use that word.

A good question -- I don't know if we have the exact equivalent in English! We might call him a roué, a ladies' man, or a dog, or a rogue. An old-fashioned term might be a "rake" although I think that's more dissolute than what you are describing.

If someone is always running after the women we might refer to him as Casanova.

I think "dog" is the closest term. It can be used in an admiring sense by one man to another man to congratulate him on his success with the ladies: "You sly old dog!" but would not be used by a woman to a man.
