Tom Coburn is questioning Sotomayor now. Is it time for your bathroom break?

If you're watching the Senate confirmation hearings, are you using this time to eat, go potty, catch up on your phone calls, etc...? Or do you take joy in watching the Judiciary Committee's most combative, ignorant, unqualified hack?

Update:

Tom Coburn actually teared up over "partisan meanness" during his opening statements in the Roberts hearings. He was then caught on camera doing a crossword puzzle while the hearings were still in session.

As you said, ignorance is not a virtue.

    I sometimes wonder how the good folks in Oklahoma pick these yahoos to represent them. This guy and Imhofe are two of the dimmest bulbs around. Also, as we know, Oklahoma is ground zero for militia terrorist attacks against America. We all remember the Oklahoma City bombings. Then we need to remember some of the most stringent Immigration laws in the country are in Oklahoma, supported and funded by the Minutemen extremists. Then we need to look at Imhofe himself. In May, it was Sen. Imhofe who proposed the racist "English Only" law.
