Is anyone else worried........?

Is anyone else worried about swine flu now that it's starting to kill healthy people ? I can't help but feel slightly panicked..

Update:

it's not "so last month" in england, a perfectly healthy child died of it yesterday.

Yes I'm a little concerned about it, and I know quite a few others who are too. But two people I know has ben diagnosed with it for quite a few months now, they don't seem too bad to me. Hopefully that will stay that way. Although, as you can imagine I was scared as hell when I went to see how they were doing! In Yes I'm worried. Especially when the British winter comes, I mean how are we meant to know the difference from swine flu and the common orthodox flu symptoms? GPs and hospitals will be over crowded with panic, most people will probably just have normal flu. Then people who have swine flu won't bother to get checked because of it. That's when it will get scary!

But we need ot remember, the media is only telling us how many cases there are so far, and how many deaths. They've not mentioned and put into the spotlight really how many people have it, for how long and that are doing well. We don't know much about it yet, so yeah that's a reason to worry. But also a reason not to, if you get me.

I'm not worried about it. A lot of people panicked here in TX when swine flu was first reported. They even closed down some of the schools. But I haven't heard anything about it in a long time.

The flu virus kills people every year - this swine flu is relatively new so we don't know so much about it - but there is no point in panicking. If you have any lung problems or Asthma get in touch with your Doctor to order the vaccine when it becomes available.

The swine flu is just another virus going around. If you worried about all of it than you would live your life always being worried. You have just as much a chance of getting hit by a bus or any other tragic accident. SO take the proper precautions, but don't go over board.

your not the only one worried, thousands are. Dont panic only 17 have died and 15 were from underlying health problems, one not from swine flu but did have he virus and the other is udner investigation at the moment. All i can say is wash you hands regurly with soap for around 30-45 seconds and sneeze into tissues and bin them straight away. Sooner the better. If you do get any symptoms and you worried contact the NHS hotline straight away.

You're going to die someday whether you like it or not, so you should just stop wasting your time worrying and live in the moment. What are the odds of you getting swine flu anyway? It's more likely that you'd get cancer... and I'm sorry if you do :3

Source(s): That didn't really make sense. But personally, no. I'm not worried.

H1N1 is nothing more then a tool to induce fear. This has benefited muslim countries the most because of there hatred of the pig exemplified by egypt slaughtering all of the pigs essentially putting out of work the christian pig farmers even further suppressing the 10% minority christians in that country which used to be 98% christian. furthermore i just went on the CDC website to find out how many people died in 2008 of what we deem "regular" flu..but the page was not available...hmm...coincidence check it out http://www.cdc.gov/flu/2008-09_flu_qa.htm

you can try to find this info on the site but they say "Exact numbers of how many people died from flu this season cannot be determined" which is total BS...it is pretty easy to find out how many people died from the flu..this is notated at time of death and can be recorded just as any other types of death.

bottom line. over 30, 000 people die annually from flu. dont try to find this info online because it has been suppressed.

swine flu is a fear tactic just like bird flu, west nile...and whatever else the powers that be want us to fear next.
