I don't think anyone ranks sports management. Then again, if they did then you probably wouldn't be asking here, right? Well, USNews doesn't list it as a "major" option and neither does CollegeBoard (although there is something called sports administration, and neither Harvard nor BU showed up up on the list when I searched in Massachusetts).

The three schools I know in MetroBoston (Boston proper and the cities and towns that border it, where you can actually get around on the T) that offer sports management are: 1) Eastern Nazarene, 2) Lasell, and 3) Mount Ida. I went to Eastern Nazarene and absolutely loved it. Near a beach, great people. One of my good friends, from Pittsfield, was a sports management major there. Hope this helps!

Addition: FYI there is no "tier 1" for USNews -- there's "top tier" and then it jumps down to third, then goes to fourth tier. Lasell is last-ranked of the "top tier" schools.

None of these three is either very big or super-selective, but that shouldn't matter anyway. Neither should rankings, which the even the Annapolis Group has recommended its institutions boycott because of its subjectivity and penchant for supporting the status quo.

Eastern Nazarene and Mount Ida are Tier 3 schools per:

Lasell is Tier 1 and is worth investigating.
