songs for walking down the aisle?

Is it okay to choose a different song to walk down the aisle? What are some songs that would be appropriate for that?

Try listening to Bach's Keyboard Concerto #5 in F minor (I think D minor also, not sure). Can easily be played by a good harpist or pianist at the ceremony and is not very common. If you have seen the first Lara Croft Tombraider movie, it is the song that plays while she is doing gymnastics in the air working with rings, unaware that her home is being invaded. It's is a really beautiful song and would be an excellent choice. Good luck :)

I was listening to "From This Moment On" by Shania Twain the other day and got the most perfect idea for walking down the aisle to it. In case you haven't heard the song before, there's a part around the middle, near the end where violins (and, depending on which version, an electric guitar) pick up and it's very dramatic. Have all the attendants walk down the aisle to the beginning of the song and, when the dramatic part kicks in, the bride walks down the aisle.

This Never Happened Before, by Paul McCartney, from his album called Chaos and Creation In The Backyard. It was also the song that Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves danced to in The Lakehouse. Absolutely beautiful.

You can use anything you want, even if it has lyrics. However if you are marrying in a church, you will more than likely be required to use religious music that is approved by the church staff.
