Which is harder--being a good Christian or a good parent? How does one affect the other?

Being a good christian makes you better parents.

I don't know if being a good Christian makes a good parent any better than being a good Hindu makes a good parent or a good Muslim makes a good parent or being a good Jew makes a good parent, etc. Apparently, there are enough decent people all over the world and from all faiths and beliefs to indicate, that just being a good human being makes a good parent - love is not something which is inclusive of Christians only, nor are the goals of setting examples and raising children properly. So my thoughts are, being a good Christian only has one part to play out of many, in being a good parent and that being a good parent is not limited to Christians.

Why would you make these two things be separate? Obviously God wants you to be a good parent. Being a good parent is one aspect of being a good Christian.

Commit all to God - by being a good Christian and He will play the rest for you.

Be sincere and see what God has in store for you.
