What switch should I use for this circuit?(7 segment decoder)?

I already have a DPDT switches with me, but how do I connect them to the breadboard or PCB?

Is a DIP switch good enough for this circuit?(I only need to do 4 digits -upto 9) I cant understand anything from the diagram given in this page.

What type of switch should I use?

A DIP switch is fine, but you need four individual SPST switches, not a DPDT. The 4 switches can be in one package, but they need 4 individual controls.

Yes, a DIP switch is perfect for this circuit. In fact, it's the 'usual' weapon of choice.

If you really can't read that schematic for setting up a 7 segment LED display and a simple driver, you need to get someone to help you learn to read a schematic diagram and realize it on a breadboard.

Well my suggestion is to become strong in basic concepts. You can make lots and lots of circuit only if you are very well in the basic electronics. So refer many books and websites...
