What is wrong with the human race?!?

A combination of media hype, & our celebrity obsessed society. I agree it certainly says something about society - probably how shallow & Godless it is.

Michael Jackson is very well known, and people care about him. That's why his death is headlining news.

Swine flu is actually a threat because it's extremely contagious and has the ability to become a pandemic. It's presumed swine flu will "come back" in the future with a higher threat level.

Michael Jackson was probably the biggest music superstar ever. People want to know about the circumstances surrounding his death. And child abuse charges were never proven - he was found "not guilty." As for swine flu, it wasn't even that big of a news story compared to stories like the Iran election. but people want to know about what could be a major epidemic. If you're so disturbed or disinterested anyway, why don't you try changing the channel or not reading the headlines. And why don't you try focusing on your own behavior instead of the supposed behavior of others?

um actually michael jackson was one of the most influential pop singers of the 20th century. his music changed people's lives and brought a lot of happiness to people. he also broke down race barriers

for that i think he deserves a lot of respect... despite what you might think about his (completely unproven) allegations

and now that we are learning more about swine flu we are finding out it is relatively low threat. but we didnt know that to begin with.

why dont you just not watch the news if you dont care about stuff that most people like to keep up to date with.

at least someone else is smart enough to think like that..... why the hell do people make such big deals of things that are done... over with! stop shoving it down our throats we're sick of it..... i mean millions of people died every day and you don't see anyone caring about them which is what we should be doing other than caring about some guy that was so special just because he could sing

He was never proven guilty* and besides we have more important things to think is wrong with the human race, like butt-pirates and scissor-sisters, we have to start wrong with them.

gay people are not choose to be gay its by nature that they are born like that and so are the pedophiles. Pedophiles also did not choose to be pedophiles, they are like that by nature. So if u support gay marriage then you also support pedophilia
