"Wonderful World" originally by Sam Cooke, but you probably heard a different version, perhaps the one by Herman's Hermits.

The main line of the song is:
But I do know that I love you
And I know that if you love me too
What a wonderful world it would be
Not sure of the title , it's an older rock song like 50s or 60s. If you google the main chorus line you should find the title and artist

It sounds like you mean "Wonderful World" by Sam Cooke. FYI- he didn't know much about any subjects, just that if the chick loved him, the world would be wonderful.
