Fellow KJV Christians: Have you recently known or met a professing Christian who you believed was demon led?

I met a woman tonight who in one single night exemplified all the ways that Christian women shouldn't behave (see 1 Tim. 4-5; 2 Tim. 3; 2 Cor. 11:1-4; 1 Tim. 2 for examples). Based on several things I've observed I'm convinced she was demon filled and demon led.

I'm curious, have any of you encountered any people where you were overwhelmingly convinced in the Spirit and by scripture that the person was absolutely demonic? If so, please share the salient elements of your experience. I see this as a teachable moment, and I'd like to maximize on it by comparing with your experiences.

Update:

Fireball: I challenge you to produce scripture for your claim. (please do better than 1 John 4:4 - I know better than that).

Please explain why there are verses like 1 Tim. 4:1 and 2 Cor. 11:4 if Christians aren't in any danger from demons.

Finally, read the question: "PROFESSING" Christians, not necessarily authentic onces.

Update 2:

SpiritRoaming: Yes. This means Christians who believe the KJV Bible. I'm hoping to weed-out the Biblically illiterate professing Christians and increase my ratio of answers that are worth reading from people who actually study the Bible and know what it says. - Such people are hard to find these days, especially on a wide open forum like this. Carefully aiming the question was my best hope to achieve my desired end-state.

Update 3:

Natassia: I've got more Greek interlinear Bibles that I can count. Your third sentence is precisely the type of biblical illiteracy that I was hoping to avoid. You apparently didn't read any of the passages, and you have no experience with this subject matter. I would rather you didn't answer.

Update 4:

Lynnmarie: that's exactly the sort of thing that I've been seeing happen. Do you have any more details you can add about such experiences?

Hey This is Actually an interesting topic but from what I understand from the KJV is that nothing can make you do anything not demons the devil or anything it's up to you whether you want to do evil or not. "I set before you life and death... choose life and live" Deuteronomy 30:19 there is a choice I did read those scriptures that you posted as well and I agree the doctrine of devils and seducing spirits etc BUT! in this case what does he mean by spirit? It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. John 6:63 Spirit can also be some ones words you seduce, persuade, entice with words. but it's really sad when you have people out there that's so bad that you think they have demons in them smh

Yes, I've met several because there is mental illness in my family. Believe me, they sure hurt people badly but possibly they are hurting even more. My older sister, my sister in law, and my two daughter in laws have all come under this category. One daughter in law is psychic, the other one is extremely manipulative too and swears, not just a word here and there but she just unravels completely. She could be reported to the police for disturbing the peace sometimes.

My older sister was (she died in Jan. 2005) diagnosed with a personality disorder. She also had a high IQ and she caused far more trouble than I could begin to describe. She was manipulative to the extreme and clever to the extreme. She was led to destroy other people's lives even while she was acting like she was your very best friend and confident. She would get information out of people and use that to turn others against them. You might say many do that, but this was demonic.

Maybe I've said enough. God bless you.

It would seem as if the Mormons are ganging up on me. I came across two elders, or what they titled themselves. And one of them after a very long conversation, told me the testimony of their prophet Mr. Smith, it was very spooky (the man never blinked);) I had to bring out some sound doctrinal err s that are not rightly divided. The top ones are "the looking glass", the gun fight that resulted in the deaths of Mr. Smith and two that were opposed to him that he killed, there is only one true testimony of Jesus Christ not another. So, yes this so called elder looked and acted possessed. Then tonight there were five of them at the door. I was thinking next week there would be 50 sons. I would be more concerned with other possessions To day though, I believe we should fight covetousness with all we have and be willing to share and open up to all those hungry and naked souls that are out there in the field. Remember we grow up together. Or maybe just say "Hold your peace, and come out of him". You really want to see things happen give your hand out to Jacob and lead him back to Israel.

    Pray Psalm 83

I don't like the KJV because I like the complete Bible, not edited, but I have just parted ways with a whole bunch of women on a YahooGroup (Modesty) who I do think are demon led. They are gossips and liars and I do pray they come to know the Lord, as they seem to be worshipping the Lord of Lies, not Jesus Christ.

I started another group for TRUE Christians (God decides who is a TRUE Christian, not me) at ModestyFellowship@YahooGroups.com

Yes. I believe they are infiltrating the fundamental churches. If we pay attention and pray for discernment, we will notice that every church seems to have one at least. They are puppets of the devil. They don't know what they're doing, but the devil is using them to cause strife and confusion. It's a very subtle attack. They seem to be there to distract people from the truth of the gospel and to just plain waste their time.

I believe that everyone is entitled to their opinion and i believe that this is not what God planned to happen, but you are definitely still a Christian if you support gay rights. Its kind of like saying that people who...think cussing is ok aren't Christian. That's ridiculous, I know a lot of Christians who cuss! So I think you are still a Christian if you support gay rights. God will always judge you fairly.:-)

    Demon led? No.

    Demon driven? Yes.

    Shepherds lead ahead.

    Butchers drive from behind.

Sorry to be such a stickler ... I did see what you were really asking and yes ... one must always discern and judge one's thoughts so that one is not driven by one of the enemies. Don't you think?

If you are attempting to say that those Christians who don't use the KJV are therefore illiterate, you've got a lot of research to do.

If I were you, I'd start with a Greek interlinear Bible.

And as a nurse, I must say that most people who act "demon-possessed" are 99.99% of the time either on drugs or severely mentally ill.

Yes. In a church I've since been kicked out of (Yes. You read that right.), I was in the second row and a woman in the first row turned around after the service and started talking to me. She touched my hand and I jerked my hand away and said, "That was evil," without thinking. She had the 'touch of evil' in her and her friend tried to cover for her, saying, "You shouldn't judge."

That was a real eye opener, let me tell you. Oh, and the senior pastor himself kicked me out of the church because I wanted to tell the congregation my story of how God saved my life.

note: the woman also had the 'astrologer' look about her. And I'm sure you know what look I mean.

We have three churches here in sheffield. I used to attend back in

the 90's i came back in 2002 an d the churches had split more than before. In the SDA conference in this country at least the churches vary up and down the country according to region.....

They may be a part of the conference alot all of them but they still represent teh area and people for obvious reasons. The conference allows this. So i have learnt the SDA church caters for so many, it has allowed for developments that are new to the organisation f not to christian practice in this country across the denominations.

One particular church in shffield had i heard a deacon whose family had a lot of local history in the church, grown up sons and daughters....

anyway i heard a year or so ago he had a demon in the church, it made things extremely bad for people,

individual members shared there desperation with many friends and locals, with me too. The word spread and he moved with his demon and now attend and worship elsewhere.... it is a surprising development to witness people i am familiar with, known as christians to then as a family, take this new direction in there lives... quite shocking for me...

i am still quite disturbed by it... but the whole family as people are not as i know them. Welcoming people but obviously i refuse and thankfully have minimal contact with them.

i have never heard such a thing in the SDA church...

i know that as christians we are to journey away from evil... as the bible says, we are to abhor evil. i dont know how many are successful in it.

I know the journey OUT is extremely difficult.....

Temptation is great and subtle, beguiling.

To string you along even a little is enough as long as they can do it long enough...

Its interesting, but i will say, my experience with the family was not a head spinning projectile vomiting experience... it was two meets with the youth who were around my age, the brothers individualy, a really sad moment, that was in 2003, then again an invite, a discussion with another guy i knew since the 90's who was friend of the older brother, he too seemed to of been through major changes... so sad. i did well to stay away.

the younger brother who has just started university in London, i know he has had it hard, i saw him in 2007, when my experience was at its height.... i know he was having it hard, discovering the levels of evil involved in the world is a shock for some of the youth i know the youth at church find it esspecially hard.

i think it is cause they are brought up as i was with the truth, Jesus saves etc, bible teaching in our church denomination on a whle is very good, some churches suffer from lack of members but the conference does well to send guest pastors from other churches on a regular basis.

The pastors of our church preach up and down the country at other churches, and to other christian denominations.

But the youth do find it hard, they suport each other, but the good ones end up down south or go to bigger cities, thats what i am hoping to do.(pray for me that i can with Gods guidance).

i have seen there faces, i know and understand so much since it all began for me in 2002.

The church is so careful, there are some people who are in deep, but others who are amn asset.

Not all the loder ones are hardened, but a couple on the perimeter and inside are....

i find most churches have a mix of members trapped in evil, but not all churches are trapped some walk willingly beguiling others or looking for others to convert....to almost feed.

MAy God bless your work and your effort, you are extremely organised and prepared, you are an excellent young woman.
