Penis Problem/ 2 yr old?

My son is 2 yrs old and circumsized... He awake from a nap...crying and telling me his pee pee hurts...So I take a look at it and i don't see any bite marks or anything like that...the head is red and irritated...The part under the head is slightly swollen...So I take him to the dr...She exams him and says that he had been playing with it and irritated it really bad....The skin under the penis head which is swollen had healed with the rim of the hea...So she manual detach it and that left a raw spot all the way around his penis head...She gave me some Tylenol and some Nystatin...I went home...cleaned and applied the medication and when I turn around it's EXTREMELY swollen and puss around the spot that is raw....I'm going nuts..WHAT TO DO!? I'm scared.....It's his PENIS for pete's sake!!

Update:

Earlier...he was in pain and wouldn't let me touch it....Now...he let's me touch it without crying and seems to be irritated still but not in pain anymore...I have also tried applying ice to the swelling...I will take him to the ER....

If there is puss around it now, it sounds like it's infected. You should take him to see the doctor again or to the ER if you don't want to go back to the same doctor. Just try to keep the area as clean as possible and keep using the Nystatin until then. When the doctor detached the skin it probably caused an infection.

If there is puss around it now, he might need antibiotics - depending on how infected it is. You should take him to see a doctor again just to be sure. Just try to keep the area as clean as possible and keep using the Nystatin until then. The doctor who detached the skin probably caused an infection. Hope this helps!

Omg you poor thing! Go back to the same doctor and tell her everything that happened after that last visit or try going to the emergency room if its seriously bad!

Put a cage or something around it to stop him from touching or messing around with it.
