What's the most significant 'spiritual gift' or blessing you've received from the Lord? I.e. ~joy~, ~love~etc.?

Our whole congregation took a test to determine our spiritual gifts and how we can use them to build up the Body of Christ. I have been blessed with three ... the gift of prophesy, mercy, and teaching.

I do not have the gift of prophesy (direct revelation from God) that the biblical prophets did. Just that I proclaim that which has already been prophesied.

For me God's grace and mercy go hand-in-hand. God's grace is Him giving me something wonderful that I do not deserve. His mercy is not giving me what I do deserve. I've always been a compassionate person but now I understand why. Because God has been merciful to me I can now share this gift with others.

Teaching is self-explanatory. I put a lot of work into studying the Scriptures to make sure I don't twist them in any way to suit my "personal" beliefs. The word of God stands on its own. I teach the Bible dispensationally which is a system of interpreting the Bible that naturally derives from the Scripture (exegesis).

With this being said ... my greatest gift is the gift of salvation and the assurance I have from the Scriptures.

It's not about me ... it's all about Jesus!

i think of if he provides her something completely inapropriate eg. a chew of outfits that he's familiar with o.k. won't in high-quality condition her. Then the lady would be insecure approximately herself and might difenitely think of of it as a msg to drop some pounds. that should be completely incorrect, as she may well be beautiful as she is.

Eternal Life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son. And now I have an eternal Father and family because He didn't just do it for me but for to save the whole world.

The gift of the sacraments. The most important is the Holy Eucharist.

His greatest gift which is forgiveness.

But I recently recieved the gift of praying in the holy spirit.

I'm still on the path to getting closer to God :)

Did you get a gift receipt for that "tender mercy"? In case it doesn't fit.

Are you sure god personally gave you these gifts and you didn't just read about them and decide to apply what you read to your life?

The greatest gift I ever received from religion was the bible itself, because it's illogical and therefore made it very easy to see through the nonsense that is belief in anything supernatural.

Being anointed by His Holy Spirit as king David was..

My life. :) I was dying, and an empty shell. Now I am no longer such.

The greatest gift I was given was my life and the ability to live it with all the blessings of God's Grace.

I think that everyday i get is a blessing from heaven. The lord has blessed me in many ways..he just doesn't always make it obvious that its coming from him. God is amazing!
