Have you ever packed your bags and started a new life somewhere else?

Update:

I've reached a point in my life and I'm thinking that it is time to go, cut off all superfluous contact and leave my old life behind. I know what's going to make me happy and I'm thinking about this change more and more as the days go by.

Yes I have. I have moved to a different state and do not regret it. Life is so much better if you just move away from the place you want to leave. I suggest moving right away, do not wait. I moved from California to Oregon. Best decision ever.

If you left they would find you and resent you even more. They would see it as an admission of defeat. At times we all feel like leaving when we really need to stay around. If you feel your girls have been brainwashed, consider therapy. If that feels too extreme, a good old fashioned lashing will teach them who's boss. If you are against hurting kids, you could try to talk to them yourself and discover exactly what their issues are and how you can work together to solve them.

YES, I was living in Long Beach, CALIFORNIA with a Female ROOMATE (nothing romantic), and I had a long-time friend living in south TEXAS who wanted me to move there.

One day I came home from work, packed my bags, and told my female roomate that I was moving to TEXAS.

...and I've been here ever since...

Yes, I call it 'repackaging' yourself...it is difficult to do, but, it is possible, if you work hard at it the results can be spectacular....
