How Long Will It Take My Uncle To Recover?
My Uncle Sam was infected with a small tumor in 1978,
but it was eliminated in 1982 before it could do much damage.
He then went through an eight year recovery period where he grew healthier and stronger in every way.
But then a more damaging and virulent form of the same kind of tumor came back in 2000.
There was a possibility of eradicating the cancer right then,
but unfortunately our options were nullified by a court judgment.
Then we could have gotten rid of the infection again in 2004,
but some of us were afraid, so we again failed to help Uncle Sam get better.
The debilitating effects of this lump from 2004 to 2008 got even worse.
This tumor weakened my Uncle Sam’s constitution over and over.
The disease has wasted lots of our money, and left us all in worse financial shape.
The good news is that this cancer was finally removed on January 20, 2009.
My concern is, How much longer will the complete recovery from the previous eight years of damage done by this terrible tumor take?
All of us who truly love Uncle Sam now have hope for the future!

Up to your usual brilliant standard Marty. Keep it up.
As for your question...
Well, as long as your uncle Sam can manage to stay in remission until after 2012, I think he has a good chance of making a complete recovery well before 2016.
On a related note, you may be interested to know that your other uncles and aunts from all around the world have ceased to hope for a quick merciful death and are once again hopeful that he will recover soon.
They also want to apologise for shunning him of late. They want you to know that it was the cancer that they hated, and not your uncle.

On January 20, 2009 Dr.Obama in his attempt to remove your Uncles tumor is instead cutting out his heart. Start picking out a coffin because he will not survive !

The cancer may have been eradicated, but I fear your Uncle Sam now has ebola, and this time can't be healed.
And it looks like it's rapidly worsening...
And sadly for Uncle Sam our health care system is about to go through an upheavel and he will never be able to get adequate care to make his final days comfortable.
