Can I make picnic sandwiches the night before?

I'm having a picnic tomorrow, making tuna, egg and ham sandwiches. Can I make the sandwiches tonight and refrigerate them, or should I prepare them tomorrow?

Update:

I am using regular white bread... no lettuce or tomato and the filling is not particularly wet.

If you make the sandwiches tonight the bread will get soggy. You can prepare the sandwich fillings tonight though.

You can make them tonight (unless the tuna and egg salad are really moist), just don't put lettuce on them. If you are having lettuce, pack it separately. It will get soggy overnight if it on the sandwiches. I always pack my lunch the night before and it is fine.

If your using croissants or rolls you can prep ahead of time, omit any lettuce or tomato, for regular bread I would wait until the day of your picnic and just prep the fillings.
