Have you ever experienced two streams of consciousness merged?
Whereas one was the stream you have always been familiar with, but the other was brand new and part of your higher self?
If not, do you think this is at all possible?
Yoohoo, the question is open to anyone that wants to comment, and drugs were not part of the question in any way.
Thanks for your input.
Hi RW,
I am speaking of purifying the heart by removing all fears, shame, anger, etc and with a healthy curiosity to find truth...and raising consciousness to a higher state not experienced before......at least not during your lifetime here before.
Perhaps a person with a thinner veil could be able to access a higher state of consciousness their whole life (I have not encountered such an individual before). I would think that a person would have to work very hard to shed the impurities we pick up throughout life.
?
NO thumbs down from me :)

Hi Kasey,
When the Higher Consciousness comes in it is inclines to blot everything else out, including lower forms of consciousness. So I have never experienced two streams of consciousness running at the same time.
The only time I have experienced merging, is with another person, when our two Higher Consciousness merged. Or at least we were both able to become aware of our Higher Consciousness at the same time and appeared to be able to intertwine on that level.
It only happened once and was an amazing experience, all sorts of intertwining streams of energy and colours etc.

Yes I have, though I agree with Thimappa that it's not so much a merging of two as the falling away of that which had obscured a 'higher' state.
I've had a few experiences, which I'm not comfortable airing in such a public forum. Mine have been very positive and beautiful but I am absolutely certain that people can experience the opposite. Our actions and intentions are important.
The spiritual path is long and often hard. The rewards do come, but so do the dangers. We really do need to have teachers and/or mentors on our spiritual journeys.

Yes, as I can recall, I went into a state I do not properly refer to as a lucid state. It was when I wanted to take some rest. As soon as I laid down, the strong and usual part of the flow of consciousness became weak and some other flow filled in. I lost the sense of time. I began to observe (with my eyes closed) impersonally the clockwork of the very place (and not something beyond). Since the time ceased, I cannot say what I observed (the voices and mobility of the people around) happened in the past or it was a part of the future.
It seemed that the sum of the activity was the same. Strong became weak; Weak became strong. No advantage! :|
Nevertheless I began to exploit the consciousness and discover my thinking languages ever since.
Many happy returns of the day. Hope you do great :)

For me these two consciousnesses merge a few ways, one is when your mind and spirit conscious are both aware and know whats going on. Like when your asleep, your spirit is always awake and your spirit can communicate with other spirits when your body and mind conscious is a sleep and unaware. But this is when I know they both merge for me, because I am a sleep, and at times when a spirit comes near, my third eye opens, I can see in the room what the spirit is doing, and what it's personal thoughts are, and we both can communicate telepathy. When I wake up, I know it really happened, because there were times when I did wake to se the spirit leaving, and once I ask a question and the spirit answered. So I know it happens.
Another way is when when you have a Out of Body Experience, and your aware of all that goes on, both spirit and body conscious are merging when you are aware, because your life cord is still attached between your body and spirit.
I believe another is when you know what happens before it does, ESP, Visions, dreams that come true, being Psychic, I beieve when both consciounesses merge you will have these abilities.
In the spiritual world all their abilities are on another lever, and we have the same abilities in our spirit in our body, when these two consciousnesses of body and spirit merge we are aware of our spirits abilities.
My perspectives from my experiences and awarenesses.

if you are referring to what I think you are referring to, then I think the answer is yes.
but I am not sure I would say "brand new", at least in my case.
edit:
I am not sure if we are referring to the same thing or not, but I think I know what you mean and I think I have experienced something somewhat related.
but like most things it seems for me what I experience in such ways is "like" many others but always a step away from them in some way.

This is why your questions continue to keep me interested. I see you are talking about things I have personally never experienced. I guess normally that would call for me to keep my mouth shut, but I just wanted appreciate the degree of discipline you are talking about. I personally would like to know what you are doing to realize this level of concentration. I apologize if I sound like an idiot, just being sincere.
So to answer your question, I'd have to say no--I haven't experienced that.

Nice to see you again.
I would imagine such experience to be amazing. It's neat to think about. It makes me wonder about people who can hear specific instruments in tune and hear all the lyrics on some songs. I bet the entire experience would be enhanced.

I first discovered this as a teenager. Called it "2-level thinking". I think I've been that way ever since. Hard to tell what "normal" is, unless judging by my surroundings it is idiocy and unconsciousness.

I wish I could say that my emergence's are all good when it comes to having multiple things streaming through my mind. I do experience that multiple personality type of situation though. Where different thoughts as though more than one person were in my mind.
Good luck in your journey ((kasey)) :)

If we are truly and naturally absorbed in the higher state of consciousness, the lower/hitherto one simply disappears/dissolves.
