Is it bad for a new car to do 4 hours of interstate driving?
I have a V6 2010 Camry with 600 miles on it. I've heard it's not good to submit the car to prolonged periods of the same RPM during the break-in period. Any opinions on a 4 hour interstate trip in this car so soon?

to be honest, with all the advancements in technology and metals and other fields relating to automobiles, there really isn't a need for a break in period any more. If you follow designated speed limits, you should be fine. You're past 600 miles anyway, which is 100 miles over the normal recommended period for break-in anyway. Just make sure you stop about every hour to hour and a half to give yourself a break.

If you are concerned about a steady period of driving at the same RPM for an extended period during the break in, simply vary your speed.
