I need to find a web site that can help me to learn to do my granddaughters hair.?

She is mixed and has predominately afro-american hair, and she is 10 and starting to worry about her appearance, you know be interested in how she looks, and she fusses about her hair, a lot!

And I would like to help her feel as beautiful as she is. Right now her hair is natural and about to her shoulders. I really hate the thought of using chemicals on a 10 yr old. I would love to see her with more natural ringlets in sort of a bob type doo. Can someone helo me help my beauty?

There are natural hair relaxers available on the market, as shown in the site below, but keep in mind you granddaughters hair will still need to be taken care of to keep it beautiful! Use deep conditioners weekly and take care to brush through it gently to prevent breakage.

oh my god this reminded me of my childhood when my grandma used to braid my hair.

the one hairstyle she did on me a lot was box braids.

you don't have to do them too small. i like doing them as an adult and curl my ends with a leave in conditioner. i don't use beads it is tacky.

    also a french braid

a ponytail with a braided head band

edit: don't relax her hair. you have to teach that she shoud embrace what she has not chemically change it.

    plus relaxers hurt.
