Guy threatened to kill me. Anything other than file a complaint be done?

either way-

1.) file a restraining order against him if you know him/visa versa

2.) also get in touch with a lawyer. If you'd like, you can file a suit for assault (unlike popular belief, assault is an immediate threat of violence that caused you apprehension).

3.) Maybe ask the police for some temporary protection, or get in touch with the Eye Witness Program.

4.) just keep an eye out on your surroundings.

Well, since you reported it, just wait. If he does something and you have to hurt/kill him, it's already on record that he threatened you, so you'll walk free.
