What could cause a green tongue?

I woke up fine, I don't feel sick. But, when I brushed my teeth this morning I had a green tongue. I have Hypopituitarism, and hypothyroidism. Could it be related or just an infection?

Update:

Both these problems do effect my immune system. My body is unable to fight of infection like it should. But, I haven't had this problem before, and I can't get a straight answer online.

None of the problems you have cause discoloration of tongue. Did you eat something which stained your tongue if so it will improve by itself. Fungal infections of the tongue look like white curd on tongue but for that one should have some predisposing condition which depresses the immune system and your conditions again do not affect immune system.

A viral infection could cause it, as could dehydration or a yeast infection, known as Candida.
